Livistona Chinensis (Single, Potted)

Notice the algae covering the sand in this palm's pot. All four of my original livistona pots were covered with this algae shortly after they were potted. As the palms got healthier and more established, the algae died. Presumably, the palms conditioned their own soil and killed the algae. This palm, the weakest of the lot, has yet to kill off all of its algae, but it's getting there.
